It’s sad Magnus only did what he did for the good of Cybertron and was hoping to reach whatever good was left in Megatron. I think this series captured the war part of the Transformers for not just what to the Autobots and Decepticons but everyone else involved as well.

It’s sad that a simple decision by the Council destroyed Megatron and Optimus bond and left their home world a barren wasteland. This series captured the war perfectly and everything that goes with war.

Even though they are not the best, they brought in a new, massive wave of fans including myself, introducing us to the wide universe of films, series and comics, something I just don't see happening with the new movies even though I love them.
